LexiconTalent is delighted to be sponsoring two races at the legendary Ascot Racecourse.

LexiconTalent’s director, Robert Dannatt, has been a lifelong fan of horse racing. The opportunity to enjoy a day at Ascot, entertaining clients in the well-appointed sponsor’s box and making a contribution to a sport that has given so much enjoyment, made the decision to sponsor a race, or two, an easy one to make.

RACES

20 November 2020
The LexiconTalent National Hunt Maiden Hurdle 2020

The LexiconTalent National Hunt Maiden Hurdle 2020 was won by Danny Kirwan , ridden by Harry Cobden – congratulations to both Harry and trainer Paul Nicholls.

Due to Covid19 this year’s race was a more subdued affair, with a smaller field and no spectators, however it still saw talented juvenile maidens compete for a generous prize fund.

We had hoped to see Henry Gondoff, trained by the legendary Jonjo O’Neil and part of the “The Sting Partnership”, represent LexiconTalent in this race. Unfortunately, he is recovering from a minor setback, but all concerned look forward to seeing him back on the course very soon.

Last year saw a competitive affair with several of the bigger stables taking part. Igor, trained by Nicky Henderson, fought off Papa Tango Charley in an exciting finish.

Coming 2021
The LexiconTalent Championship Standard Open National Hunt Flat

Moving into 2021, LexiconTalent has confirmed sponsorship of The LexiconTalent Championship Standard Open National Hunt Flat race at Ascot and in addition, we will be reaching out to charities within the sport to extend further support to the horses and jockeys.

LexiconTalent wishes all the participants and their connections the very best of luck and most importantly to see all the horses return safely.
